Overview: Choir is a student community of singers who put forth extra time on Friday afternoons to learn vocal music for public performances. We also record music and write songs together. Singing rocks!

Why join? Students should join if they have an interest and passion for singing. Excellent discipline and work ethic is also required for choir.

Overview: The Robotics Club gives students the chance to explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through hands-on learning. Members work together to design, build, and program robots while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills. The club provides a fun and creative space where students can experiment, think critically, and see their ideas come to life.

Why join? Joining the Robotics Club is a great way to spark curiosity and imagination while learning valuable skills for the future. Students get the opportunity to collaborate with friends, try out new ideas, and celebrate success as a team. Along the way, they build confidence, practice leadership, and discover the excitement of innovation. Best of all, Robotics Club is about having fun while learning how to dream big and make things move!

Overview: The Green Team is a group of students who are concerned about the future environment of our world and recycling is a part of this process of helping. These students would have assigned areas to gather up the recycled trash bins (teachers have set outside their pods) to dispose of them in the large recycle bin.

Overview: The Roadrunner Safety Patrol is a team of responsible student leaders who help create a safe, welcoming, and respectful school environment. Patrol members assist with helping classmates during arrival. By working together, patrols promote responsibility, teamwork, and pride in our school community.

Why join? Becoming a member of the Safety Patrol is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and make a difference at school. Patrol members earn the respect of their peers and teachers by showing responsibility and dependability. It’s also a chance to serve the school in a meaningful way, set an example for others, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment. Most of all, Safety Patrol members gain the satisfaction of knowing they play an important role in helping our school be the best it can be!

Overview: Student Council offers 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Roadrunners the opportunity to actively participate in school wide initiatives, lend their hands to community causes, and see democracy in action. Class representatives will be held to high academic and citizenship levels. In addition, all representatives are to maintain a high standard of personal conduct.

Why join? Student leaders will gain responsibility, increased pride in their school, and an overall awareness of events at a local and/or state level
