Meet the Assistant Principal
Kori Johnson
Welcome Roadrunners!
Hi there! I’m Kori Johnson, and I’m so proud to be the Assistant Principal here at Rosemeade Elementary. I absolutely love being part of a school community where students are encouraged to be curious, confident, and kind.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and my Master’s in Educational Leadership, and I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Education. Lifelong learning is a value I hold close—both professionally and personally. Outside of school, I’m a proud boy mom to three amazing, energetic sons who keep me grounded, inspired, and always on my toes!
For me, education is all about helping kids discover who they are and what they’re capable of. Every student has something special to offer, and I’m passionate about creating a space where they feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow.
I’ve been in education for 7 years, and whether I’m visiting classrooms, chatting with students in the hallway, or working with our amazing staff and families, I’m always focused on helping every child reach their full potential—not just in school, but in life.
When I’m not at school, you can usually find me cheering from the basketball or soccer sidelines, catching up on a Netflix show, or shopping. I believe in working hard, laughing often, and always showing up with heart.
I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships, support academic and personal growth, and help create a school community where every child feels valued, empowered, and inspired to succeed.
